First off I’d like to wish you all a happy and a prosperous new year. Personally I like to think we can set goals and change our ways for the better at anytime. Starting a new year gives us a bit more incentive to continue with our goals on a clean slate, but remember we can do anything we put our minds to we just have to try.
When I first began with hemp products little did I know what was truly out there, I was happy with the results of using hemp cream for my skin, so the more I researched about hemp the more I discovered, learning lots of possibilities along the way. Little did I know how much one plant was utilized.
The next step in my journey was how to use hemp seed oil and what could it do for me. I knew of it, but I knew nothing about it, the more I read the more it appealed to me. The health benefits I found were enough for me to give it a try.
With a well-balanced diet and the addition of hemp seed oil, I’ve never felt this good in my life, physically and mentally.
Discovering Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp seed oil is obtained by pressing the hemp seeds, it can be refined or un refined, cold pressed unrefined oil is a lot darker than refined oil and has a nutty flavor the darker the oil the earthier its taste. Refined hemp seed oil is clear and colorless with little flavor, it’s used more so for body care products, like hemp cream.
After the introduction to hemp creams and the results I was happy with, I furthered my interest in the product and discovered about hemp seed oil. I was on break and in one of my local health food stores, in the fridge I found a small bottle of hemp seed oil and gave it a try. Now the oil could have been added to salads or shakes whatever suited the applicant really, but I just settled with a teaspoon every morning after breakfast, it’s taste wasn’t amazing, very earthy, I stuck with it every morning regardless of the taste and I felt good.
The more these products are becoming known the more people are giving it a go. Ways in which we use these products have changed and its becoming easier and easier to give them ago. It can become apart of our routine if we let it and be as simple as brushing our teeth.
How is Hemp Seed oil consumed?
If you’re like me and can stomach just about anything without concern then I’m sure you could measure straight from a hemp seed oil bottle, but there are many ways in which you could simply add the oil to you’re foods as additional benefits, it can be used in salad dressings, mixed into you’re foods where you see fit, smoothies and more, it can be added to about anything, you just need to use you’re imagination.
Hemp seeds can also be used in all types of cooking as stated above, I’ve never used hemp seeds by themselves but I’m sure just as nutritious. If purchasing, getting something that has not been subjected to direct sunlight when packaged is beneficial as the omegas attained in the seeds can be spoiled a lot quicker. So a closed package with no windows is the go.
If you’re looking for easy no fuss way of bringing hemp seed oil into you’re life or looking to further you’re product range then they do make capsules. Adding one to you’re morning or evening routine takes very limited time and still gives you the same results, if you’re living a super busy life or just don’t have the time then taking a capsule is well worth it. I like to take a capsule each morning, it’s easy and has become second nature and just a part of my daily routine.
